Dr. Kyung Jin Zoh is a distinguished professor, landscape architect, and urban planner with over 25 years of expertise in urban landscape planning, park design, and environmental studies. He is internationally recognized for his leadership in sustainable urban design, cultural landscape preservation, and innovative public space creation, with notable contributions to urban parks, DMZ landscapes, and garden culture research.

Academic & Professional Leadership
At Seoul National University, Dr. Zoh has served as Dean of the Graduate School of Environmental Studies (2021–2023), Vice Dean (2013–2015), and Director of the Environmental Planning Research Institute (2017–2019). He currently leads the ESG Expert Program, is affiliated with institutes for sustainability and unification studies, and teaches urban design and environmental planning.
Beyond academia, he has held key professional roles, including President of the Korean Institute of Landscape Architecture (2021–2022), Korean Representative to IFLA, and Director General of Parks and Green Spaces at the Seoul Metropolitan Government (2013–2016), where he spearheaded major park system transformations. He has also chaired major international congresses and design competitions.
Significant Projects & Research
Dr. Zoh has led and contributed to numerous landmark projects, including:
- Seoul Botanic Park – Master Planner (2013–2019)
- Seoullo 7017 – Chair of Operation Committee, transforming an elevated highway into a linear park (2017–2019)
- Imjingak Tourist Site Master Plan (DMZ area) – Co-Researcher (2017)
- Seoul Forest Park – Design team member (2004), awarded IFLA Award of Excellence
- Han River Renaissance Projects & Yongsan Park Competition – Research and planning leadership
His recent research focuses on urban climate resilience, smart green infrastructure, and innovative models for urban park design and management.

Publications & Exhibitions
Dr. Zoh has authored influential books and papers on urban parks, DMZ landscapes, and sustainable city design. His writings include contributions to The Big Asian Book of Landscape Architecture (2020) and Creating Cities with Open Space (2021). His academic articles span topics from smart city energy modeling to cultural landscapes of the DMZ.
He is also active as a curator and artist, with exhibitions at the Venice Architecture Biennale (2020), Korean Cultural Centres in Paris, London, Sydney, and Ottawa, and the DMZ Open Festival.
Current Roles
He continues to advise national committees on urban development, forest policy, and cultural landscapes while serving as Master Planner for large-scale projects in Korea.
Rahman Andra Wijaya
Having work for UK and US based design consultant for over 15 years before joining
partnership in URBAN+, a multidiscipline urban design, masterplanning, architecture, and
landscape architecture firm in 2018. His vast experience cover conservation-oriented to
commercial projects; from hospitality to urban landscape design; from riverside development
to streetscape design for both public and private sectors.
In recent years – leading in landscape related development of URBAN+’s Nagara Rimba
Nusa winning scheme for Indonesian new capital, where some vision, guideline and design,
and are already implemented onsite.
Currently serve as General Secretary of Indonesian Society of Landscape Architect and
Director of Landscape Architecture in URBAN+
